Authorization
The Customer authorizes the Shop to inspect, diagnose, repair, test drive, and perform the services described on the repair order. Additional repairs require Customer approval unless previously authorized.
Estimates
Estimates are based on visible conditions. Additional repairs discovered after disassembly or testing require approval when practical.
Diagnostic Charges
Diagnostic fees are due regardless of whether repairs are approved or additional issues are later found.
Customer-Supplied Parts
The Shop may refuse customer-supplied parts. If installed, no warranty applies to those parts or related failures.
Used, Rebuilt, and Aftermarket Parts
The Shop may install new, rebuilt, remanufactured, recycled, OEM, or quality aftermarket parts as appropriate.
Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles may be treated as abandoned and subject to lawful garageman's lien procedures under Texas law.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion. The Shop may retain possession until payment is made as permitted by Texas law.
Garageman's Lien
The Shop claims all rights under Chapter 70 of the Texas Property Code.
Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, labor is warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Excludes abuse, misuse, normal wear, unrelated failures, customer-supplied parts, lack of maintenance, overheating, and unauthorized third-party repairs.
No Warranty on Diagnostic Opinions
Diagnosis reflects conditions known at the time and additional issues may later be discovered.
Test Drives
The Customer authorizes necessary road testing.
Personal Property
The Shop is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to valuables left in the vehicle, or for vehicle loss or damage caused by theft, vandalism, weather, fire, flood, hail, wind, acts of nature, falling objects, or third parties, except to the extent caused by the Shop's negligence or willful misconduct.
Vehicle Condition
The Customer affirms authority to authorize repairs and will disclose known issues.
Pre-Existing Damage
The Shop is not responsible for rust, corrosion, seized fasteners, brittle plastics, deteriorated wiring, or age-related failures.
Electronic Systems
Programming and calibration may require additional labor and subscriptions.
TPMS
Age- or corrosion-related failures of TPMS components are the Customer's responsibility unless caused by Shop negligence.
Right to Refuse Service
The Shop may refuse service for safety, fraud, abusive behavior, or other lawful reasons.
Limitation of Liability
The Shop is not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law.
Attorney's Fees and Collection Costs
The Customer agrees to pay recoverable collection costs and attorney's fees where permitted.
Force Majeure
The Shop is not responsible for delays beyond its control.
Governing Law
Texas law governs these Terms and Conditions.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and the repair order constitute the entire agreement.
